Objective Rating Criteria
All ratings and rankings on VCC Review are derived from empirical live-testing data and authentic user experience. No amount of sponsorship, advertising, or commission can buy a higher ranking or biased score on our platform.
1. The 10-Point Rating System (0 - 10)
Each Virtual Credit Card (VCC) provider is comprehensively scored across 5 weighted dimensions. The final composite score represents the weighted average of each individual metric, rounded to one decimal place (e.g., 8.5/10 or 9.2/10).
Our highest-priority metric. We attach cards to Facebook Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, OpenAI, Canva, and major merchants to test transaction pass rates, 3D Secure OTP stability, and regional BIN resilience (US, UK, HK, Singapore...).
Comprehensive cost audit: Card issuance fee, account deposit fee, monthly maintenance charges, cross-border transaction fees, and FX markup relative to real mid-market interbank exchange rates.
Evaluating supported funding options: Crypto (USDT TRC20/BEP20), Wire Transfers (SWIFT, SEPA), local payment rails, minimum deposit requirements, and balance credit speed.
Assessing verification processing times, user data privacy measures, mandatory 2FA enforcement, regulatory financial licensing, and custodian banking partnerships.
Benchmarking response speed across Live Chat, Telegram, and Ticket desks; effectiveness in resolving billing declines, processing refunds, and transaction trace inquiries.
2. Principles of Editorial Independence
- Zero Paid Removals of Negative Reviews: If a provider suffers widespread system failures, high BIN decline spikes, or institutes hidden fees, we publish immediate transparent warnings to protect our audience.
- Strict Separation of Editorial & Commercial Operations: Our technical review and audit team operates completely independent of commercial affiliate partnerships.
- Quarterly Re-Audit Cycles: The virtual card landscape evolves rapidly. We re-test all featured providers quarterly or immediately upon major ad network policy shifts.
3. Community Feedback & Empirical Data Sharing
We continuously welcome real-world feedback and reports from media buyers, marketers, and developers. If you experience unexpected issues with any listed card provider, submit documented proof to our team for immediate re-investigation.
